The Keyham Barton Conservative Club has a long history of supporting local charities and this year has been no exception,
once again our members have provided us with another outstanding sum of money to donate to another
needy cause this year.
This year's charity is "Horizons (Plymouth)", a local childrens charity based in Devonport, this replaces our previous charity "The P.T.A. of Mill Ford special school" who were represented by their head teacher when receiving a cheque from
the president and the secretary on behalf of the members of the club.
Members have previously supported their chosen charities with equal vigour and have provided much needed funds for
guide dog training, Devon air ambulance, C.L.I.C. and the Derriford childrens cancer service.
Our Charity walk is still supported by many of our members every spring bank holiday,
and race nights and other evenings of entertainment help us to help local charities fund their much needed work in our community.
